WHAT SERVICES DO SOUTH EAST FIRE AND RESCUE PROVIDE?
Our crews are available to cover any of your fire safety needs. From village fetes to music festivals we can provide the cover you need. Working alongside partner agencies there is nothing we can’t cover.

DO I NEED ANY PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE TO JOIN?
To join South East Fire and Rescue you do not need any previous experience. We train every Thursday evening covering a full range of skills.
IS THERE A MINIMUM COMMITMENT NEEDED?
We understand that everyone has work and family commitments. All we ask is that you let us know in advance if you can’t make any training session.
IF I BECOME A VOLUNTEER WILL I GET PAID?
This is a voluntary role however for some of the bigger events we will try to cover expenses.
DO YOU SUPPORT ARMED FORCES PERSONNEL, VETERANS AND FAMILY MEMBERS?
Here at South East Fire and Rescue we fully support all aspects of the armed forces. Some crew members are military veterans and we pride ourselves on our ability to support those who may suffer with PTSD through a peer based support system. We have also signed up to the “Armed Forces Covenant” to show our full support to those who serve our country.
